I first met Kevin Alexander and contracted with his consulting firm, Alexander Creative Consulting, Inc., in August of 2001. As such I have known and worked with him in a professional capacity for nearly two years. I feel both privileged and obliged to tell you that he is one of the most remarkable and professional individuals I have ever worked with.
Kevin directed Sales, Marketing & Communications for our company and as one of three senior-level Executive VP’s served as my “right-hand man” during a period where we experienced a 400% growth in orders for foreign-trained permanent staff nurses. Unfortunately despite this phenomenal growth, our company like many U.S.-based international businesses was adversely affected by the tragic and unforeseen events of 9-11. The increasingly complex regulatory environment as it relates to immigration and terrorism has burdened our business with enormous, unexpected costs and as a result we have had to shift our limited organizational resources toward capital development and operational affairs. These are the circumstances that caused the disruption of our excellent working relationship and I will tell you with the greatest amount of sincerity that he is absolutely the first person I will contact for rehire when our next round of funding comes through. First and foremost be assured that Mr. Alexander is the consummate sales professional. Kevin identified, contacted, made presentations and closed a $2MM+ sale to a regional health system within 120 days of engagement--(the single largest sale in our company history). Furthermore Kevin functioned as our Sales Manager – assisting with recruitment, orientation, training and support of our field sales staff as they called on hospital/health system CEO’s, COO’s, CNO’s and Human Resource Directors in all parts of the United States. When the field sales representatives were unavailable Kevin served in a client relations role and through collaboration with our operations staff brought solutions to the table for every customer need or concern that would arise in the course of conducting business. We’ve received numerous compliments from our customers who came to rely on his consistent, accurate and professional communications. Additionally I must tell you that Kevin is a marketer of the highest caliber who meticulously researches, tests, measures and implements the results of his campaigns effectively. His targeting, messaging and strategic instincts were so keen that in a short period of time I relinquished control and gave him near total autonomy to act according to his own best judgment. In many cases he presented ideas and strategies that were so strikingly similar to my own that I was sure that he either possessed psychic powers or was my long lost twin brother. Finally, I would be remiss if did not share my feelings about Kevin’s expertise in the area of corporate communications. His knowledge of the healthcare industry and public relations is unsurpassed and he maintains a vast network of relationships with reliable communications vendors and subcontractors. One of Kevin’s first assignments was to re-design the corporate website using a developer that was based in the Philippines. He not only delivered on time and on-budget but since then the website has become the cornerstone of our operation using database technology to track order fulfillment processes and to create a communications link with both customers, operations staff, management and sales representatives. He executed a corporate branding strategy and employed the brand in our brochures, stationery, PowerPoint sales presentations, banner and print advertising, promo items as well as in all correspondence and copy. He also planned and executed a simple, cost-effective public relations campaign that resulted in 3 regional newspaper articles, one regional magazine article and one article that appeared in the national business publication “Entrepreneur” magazine. Kevin is an innovative self-starter, who rarely needs supervision. He is reliable; handles pressure well and voluntarily works evenings, weekends and holidays if it is necessary to meet a deadline. Our world headquarters is based in Manila, The Philippines and as such it was necessary for Kevin to participate in conference calls that were scheduled late in the evenings or early in the mornings. I remember one occasion in particular where we worked together by telephone until 3AM on the development of a contract for a prospective partner in India. Kevin not only made the extremely tight deadline, but beat it; and then facilitated the signing of the agreement the following day by conferencing with the 2nd party in London, England. This is of course just one of the many examples of Kevin's superior skills and admirable work ethic. | I have had the distinct privilege or working with Kevin Alexander over the course of about 1 ½ years when we retained Kevin as a consultant through Alexander Creative Consulting, principally to assist BioQuest in developing a marketing plan and campaign strategies centered on BioQuest’s Direct Public Offering, over the Internet and using the Dutch Auction technology, the first time this had ever been done by a company. Kevin helped to create the plan, formulate the strategies and then worked hand-in-glove with our various vendors in readying the execution schedules. I have known Kevin Alexander in a professional capacity for over two years. Without exception I have found his work to be creative, relevant, on budget and responsive to each of his clients! I was disappointed to learn of his departure from TCSS and will hire him myself as soon as the right opportunity arises. He worked on a wide-variety of projects for us at TCSS. He developed a plan to market to Florida Hospitals; developed sales tools, including brochures, web site, sales convention display booth, and Power Point sales presentations.
